INS Vagli-THE HINDU-18-02-2020

INS Vagli, a Vela class diesel electric submarine, was commissioned into the Indian Navy at Riga in Latvia, which was part of the erstwhile Soviet Union in 1974.

It was decommissioned after 36 years of active service at Visakhapatnam in December 2010.
